Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a final test technician to support the setup and maintenance of test equipment in the final test department located in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia.

The role involves handling equipment down and low yield issues, configuring production-ready systems (including handler conversion and loadboard changes), and debugging or repairing test hardware. The successful candidate will follow safety rules and maintain good housekeeping in the work area.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with 1-5 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Experience in operating or troubleshooting Multitest MT9928/MT9510 and Seiko Epson Handler equipment is preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Attending and troubleshooting of test equipment during equipment down and low yield issues.
• To setup equipment for production running including handler conversion and change loadboard.
• To perform PCB board debugging and repairing when test hardware fail testing.
• Keep good housekeeping and good safety practices to adhere to company /deparment set rules, regulations and discipline.
