Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. in Penang is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to support test equipment setup, repair, and routine upkeep in the Test Manufacturing area.

You will assist engineers on improvement initiatives to boost handler and test hardware performance, and you will analyze weaknesses to drive changes. The role requires a Diploma or higher and bilingual English/Malay proficiency, with 12-hour rotating shifts on-site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in electronics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; experience in semiconductor Backend (Final Test), especially with ATE testers and test handlers, is an added advantage.
• Able to work ABC 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night).
• Good attendance, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work independently and demonstrate innovation in technical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setup, handler conversion, repair, and maintenance for test equipment used by Test Manufacturing.
• Support Maintenance Engineers in executing improvement projects to enhance handler and test hardware performance.
• Provide feedback and perform analysis on test hardware weaknesses to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in 5S activitiesand ensurecompliance with safety SOPs on the production floor.
