Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Final Test Technician to support setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of production test equipment. You will assist in equipment changes, loadboard swaps, and ensure safe, compliant operations within the final test department.

Suitable for fresh graduates or those with 1–5 years of experience; familiarity with MT9928/MT9510 and Seiko Epson Handler equipment is preferred. Proficient computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with 1–5 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Experience in operating or troubleshooting Multitest MT9928/MT9510 and Seiko Epson Handler equipment is preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Attending and troubleshooting of test equipment during equipment down and low yield issues.
• To setup equipment for production running including handler conversion and change loadboard.
• To perform PCB board debugging and repairing when test hardware fail testing.
• Keep good housekeeping and good safety practices to adhere to company /department set rules, regulations and discipline.
