Job summary

Micron Technology, a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and optimize electro-mechanical equipment in its Penang manufacturing lines. You will perform diagnostics, rebuilds and equipment modifications under engineers' direction, ensuring robust uptime and readiness for production ramps.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical engineering or Electronic/Electrical Engineering.
• Experience or familiarity with semiconductor testing equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems, data analysis, programming or AI applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment in the manufacturing process.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment as per plans/manuals.
• Perform checkouts with test and diagnostic equipment; support ramp-up.
• Maintain equipment uptime and perform scheduled PM.
