Job summary

DIGITAL BRIGHT TECHNOLOGIES in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to lead end-to-end testing across the software development lifecycle. You will drive functional, integration and UAT testing and build scalable automation frameworks to improve CI/CD coverage.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior testers, refining testing processes and coordinating with developers, BAs and product owners to ensure high-quality software releases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of software testing and quality engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD principles.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium.
• Experience with REST API and microservices testing.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Proficient in test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
• Knowledge of banking/financial services testing (e.g., KYC, AML) is a plus.

Job Description

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in banking & financial services testing (e.g. KYC, AML, onboarding systems) is preferred.
• Experience with security testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite) is desirable.
• Knowledge of contract testing (Pact) and service virtualization is advantageous.
• Having base understanding of cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized apps (Docker/Kubernetes) is extremely desirable.
• Familiarity with GitOps and DevOps practices.
