Job summary

SiTime is seeking a Principal Test Development Engineer in Ipoh, Malaysia, to lead the design of test solutions for precision timing devices. You will define ATE test flows, develop production test software, and collaborate across design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure robust, scalable test capabilities.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with ATE platforms, strong C++ skills, and a track record of delivering high-volume test solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years as an individual contributor in relevant tech areas.
• Experience with ATE development for mixed-signal ICs preferred.
• Hands-on with electronics lab instrumentation and metrology systems.

Responsibilities

• Define the ATE test flow and test plan for new products.
• Develop, validate, and release production test software for standard mixed-signal ATE platforms such as Teradyne Eagle Test Systems (ETS-88/ETS-364/UltraFLEX).
• Provide inputs in test hardware development from block diagrams to layout considerations.
• Support NPI by developing test methodologies and qualification plans.
• Lead test program debugging, optimization, and production release activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
