Sandisk staff Test Development Engineer (Module) in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia, works on-site at the Penang SDSM Office. The role focuses on module/system level test development during the NPI stage with multiple Advantest platforms and in-house test platforms. Full-time position requiring strong programming in Java, Bash, Python, C#, and C/C++.

The candidate will collaborate across PE, Device, Packaging, and Design teams, optimize test data, and support DFT/DOE and test time improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of working experience in test/software development.
• Experience in ATE code development for module/system testing with strong programming skills (Java, Bash, Python, C#, C/C++).

Responsabilités

• 3D NAND test solution design, development, and maintenance across hardware, software, and data analysis.
• R&D and MP programming on multiple platforms including Advantest T5773, T5831, and internal platforms.
• Test equipment bring-up and correlation for new packages; DSA design and channel mapping.
• Create product-specific test flows and ensure High-Volume Manufacturing readiness.
• R&D activities from pre-silicon to post-silicon, including Design Validation and Qualification support.
• Engineer investigations and issue resolution across design/process/packaging.
• RMA failure mode analysis and test time optimization.
• Data correlation across platforms and cross-department collaboration.
