Job summary

Gutor is seeking a seasoned Pre-Sales & Tendering Manager based in Malaysia to lead regional tendering and support the Houston sales team across the Americas. The role combines direct tendering with leadership, process improvement, and organizational support, guiding a team of engineers to deliver technically compliant and commercially competitive proposals.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Power Systems engineering and at least 8 years in pre-sales or tendering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in pre-sales, tendering, proposal engineering, applications engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional tendering function and develop complex, strategic quotations.
• Provide leadership for Pre-Sales & Tendering Engineers and resource optimization.
• Ensure proposals are technically compliant, commercially competitive, and aligned with company objectives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing and customers to mitigate risk.
• Drive standardization, process improvement, and use of estimating tools and templates.
• Support forecasting, planning, and business development initiatives.
