Job description

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the company’s .NET enterprise web applications (frontend and SQL backend).

Develop, enhance, and maintain VB .NET APIs, web services, and SQL components for integration and automation.

Debug and resolve issues in application logic, stored procedures, and data interfaces.

Analyze root causes, apply fixes, test, and deploy updates.

Prepare and review technical specs for new features or enhancements.

Participate in system design, development, and testing of improvements and reports.

Supervise and guide junior engineers, ensuring code quality and compliance.

Work with project teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Create and maintain SQL reports, views, and scripts for business needs.

Maintain clear documentation and handle ad-hoc technical requests.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in .NET and SQL-based application support or development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers).
• Hands‑on experience with VB .NET, APIs, web services, and IIS deployment.
• Exposure to enterprise system customization, integration, and reporting.
• Able to mentor junior staff and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Experience with ERP, accounting, or inventory systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
• Independent, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Malaysian citizen with own transport.
