Malaysia Airports Berhad is seeking a Senior Technical Officer in Engineering (Electrical & Electronic System) to oversee maintenance of airport facilities at MASB @ BKI. The role focuses on planning, supervising, and ensuring high standards of reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder with minimum 3.0 CGPA.
• Minimum 5 years relevant supervisory maintenance experience.

• Plan, manage and supervise maintenance to standards ensuring serviceability and cost optimization.
• Analyze reports to identify trends and drive continuous improvement actions.
• Provide guidance and direction to subordinates to promote high maintenance standards and teamwork.

Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

• Plan; manage and supervise the maintenance works are accordance to the specified maintenance standards; best practices and quality so as to ensure the serviceability and reliability of facilities as well as operational efficiency and cost optimization

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTION

• Analyses technical reports; identifies trends for the facilities and equipment breakdowns and recommends for continuous improvement action


• Analyses cost implications of the operations; maintenance and repair activities and recommend for budgetary


• Provide guidance; advice and direction to all subordinate and to promote high standard of maintenance culture; efficiency; productivity; teamwork; quality services and personnel job enrichment


• Plan and ensure high standard of maintenance work accordance to best practices so as to ensure serviceability; reliability of facilities and cost optimization.


• Control and ensure compliance with local/international regulations and legislations for safe and efficient airport operation and maintenance.


• Accountable for maintenance work in the airports


• Enhancing management and leadership skill and knowledge of maintenance works


• Knowledgeable in Contract Management


• Keeps abreast with the latest technology and best practices in the industries

Skills

• Knowledge in maintenance and operation of electrical installation and other airports facilities


• Possess updated knowledge in the latest technology and airport facilities and project management


• Knowledge of contract management i.e construction, legal and value engineering


• Knowledge in Local and International Airside Regulations and Requirements.

Relevant Industries

• Diploma holder with minimum 3.0 CGPA with minimum 5 years relevant working experience in Supervisory role.
