Oriental Sheet Piling Sdn Bhd is seeking a civil/structural engineer with strong experience in design and analysis of foundations, piles, and infrastructure projects. The role involves preparing calculations and drawings, offering innovative steel foundation solutions, and supporting regional commercial teams with technical guidance.

The ideal candidate will have BS EN code proficiency, solid geotechnical knowledge, and excellent communication skills to present proposals to clients and partners.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (2nd Upper or equivalent)
• 5+ years of experience (or 8+ years) in structural design and related fields
• Experience in structural steel design, foundations, and consultancy engineering
• Familiar with BS EN design codes
• Strong geotechnical design/construction knowledge
• Proficient with contract documents and technical drawings
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented with strong math/analytical abilities
• Fresh graduates with strong credentials encouraged to apply

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural design and analysis for civil projects
• Design foundations, piles, blast-resistant and civil infrastructure elements
• Prepare design calculations and technical drawings
• Propose cost-effective foundation solutions using steel foundation tech
• Provide technical support to commercial teams regionally
• Analyze evolving construction requirements and technologies
• Present design proposals to internal/external customers

Responsibilities

Possess relevant knowledge and experience as follows:

• Structural design and analysis;
• Foundation and pile / Blast resistant / Civil infrastructure design;
• Preparation of design calculations and technical drawings for civil and geotechnical engineering projects;
• Provide cost effective construction method with innovative steel foundation solutions;
• Provide technical support to commercial team not limited to Malaysia but extended regionally to improve the business competitiveness and to secure sales;
• Analyse latest construction requirements and evolution in construction technology;
• Presentation to internal/external customer on design proposal.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, 2nd upper class in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent;
• At least 5 year(s) or more than 8 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
• Experience in structural steel design and relevant exposure in foundation and consultancy engineering;
• Well verse with BS EN design codes;
• Good knowledge of Geotechnical Engineering Design/Construction only;
• Proficient in contract documents and all technical drawings and able to carry out quantitative and qualitative analysis of the designs;
• Possess good interpersonal skill, customer oriented with good presentation skill and team player;
• Passionate to be an engineer and show strong technical attributes e.g. attention to details, highly organized and good math/analytical skills;
