MVC Resources in Malaysia seeks an experienced Tax Senior to lead corporate and individual tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse client portfolio. You will review computations, monitor deadlines, and liaise with IRB and other authorities to ensure timely, accurate submissions.

The role requires strong knowledge of Malaysian tax law, transfer pricing concepts, and the ability to guide junior staff while delivering practical tax planning and risk management solutions.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related discipline.
• ACCA/ICAEW/CPA/CFA/CTP or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant taxation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax legislation and international tax concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and client management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage an assigned portfolio of corporate and individual clients, ensuring timely delivery of tax compliance and advisory services.
• Review tax computations, tax returns, estimates, and correspondence prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor statutory tax deadlines and ensure all submissions are completed within the required timelines.
• Liaise with clients and government authorities, including the IRB, Customs, Ministry of Finance, and other regulatory bodies.
• Support the Tax Manager in delivering tax advisory services across various industries.
• Assist in managing tax audits, investigations, and dispute resolution matters.
• Review work completed by team members, providing guidance to ensure quality and adherence to firm standards.
• Support in coaching, mentoring, and training team members and sharing updates on tax legislation.
