Job summary

Flintex Consulting in Johor Bahru, Malaysia is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Analyst/Consultant to design, develop, and maintain ABAP objects for SAP ECC6 environments. You will build interfaces to external systems (EDI/B2B), perform unit testing, and support UAT with end users.

The role requires 3–5 years of SAP ABAP experience, strong OO programming, and familiarity with ABAP Performance Tools. S4/Hana experience and SAP Certification are advantageous, with the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent with 3–5 years of SAP ABAP experience.
• 1–2 full lifecycle SAP implementation experience as Analyst/Consultant is preferred.
• Strong ABAP OO programming skills and debugging proficiency.
• Experience with ABAP Performance Tools and ABAP optimization.
• Experience with EDI/ALE, middleware, and B2B integrations (BizTalk hopeful).
• SAP Certification is an advantage; S4/Hana experience is a plus.
• Able to work independently and in a team; good communication.
• Knowledge of SAP best practices and cross-functional collaboration.

To provide IT professional service to the group companies and support day-to-day system operations. Responsible for system governance, getting user’s requirements, system/design improvement, system development, and audit compliance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/AUTHORIZATION LEVEL

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP objects:
• Screen Painter or Dialog Programming
• Enhancements (BADI, BTE, Customer Exit, User Exit, Substitution and Validation, VOFM Routine)
• Forms (Smartforms and SAPScripts)
• Design and develop new requirements, troubleshooting, performance tuning and improvement of existing programs from different SAP modules for SAP ECC6 applications
• Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP ECC6 and external systems (SAP EDI/B2B – Biztalk)
• Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and guidelines
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including functional consultants and project managers
• Proactively recommend and propose improvements to existing processes and systems
• Work effectively and independently on assigned projects

Authority:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent, with 3-5 years’ relevant experience
• Preferably with a minimum of 1 - 2 full lifecycle implementation experience of SAP as an Analyst/ Consultant
• Good experience in ABAP Object Oriented Programming (OOP) Model
• Have experience with ABAP Performance Tools in SAP
• Have prior experience working with EDI / ALE and any middleware and B2B applications
• Professional SAP Certification will be advantageous
• Prior experience in S4/Hana will be advantageous
• Good proficiency in debugging ABAP objects

JOB-RELATED SKILLS
