PPG Industries in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Supply & Distribution Planning Execution specialist to develop short- and long-term material supply plans, monitor availability, and release purchase orders to sustain uninterrupted manufacturing.

The role emphasizes SSPL risk management, inventory optimization, end-to-end import handling, and collaboration across Procurement, Operations, Logistics, and Quality teams to maintain service levels and minimize working capital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, operations or related field.
• 5–8 years in supply planning, material planning, inventory management, or supply chain ops in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, APO) required.
• Strong analytical, proactive mindset and English/Bahasa Malaysia fluency.

Responsabilités

• Develop short- and long-term material supply plans based on demand forecasts and production schedules.
• Monitor material availability and ensure on-time replenishment for manufacturing operations.
• Release PRs/POs and follow up with suppliers on acknowledgements and delivery schedules.
• Track open orders and expedite to prevent production disruptions.
• Identify shortages, mitigate risks, and coordinate recovery plans.
• Coordinate end-to-end import processes and ensure timely customs clearance.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality and Commercial teams.
