Job summary
TE Connectivity Corporation is seeking a Supplier Development Process Engineer to oversee supplier readiness, performance and development for PCBA- based suppliers. You will lead audits, development plans and actions to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets within a high‑impact supply chain environment.
Role requires cross‑functional collaboration across Procurement, SQE, PDE and Engineering, and strong experience with NPI, DFM/DFA, APQP, PPAP and ISO/IATF standards.
Qualifications
- Must have MPDE experience in PCBA and supplier development
- Experience with DFM/ DFA and BOM management
- Knowledge of ISO/IATF and IPC standards
- Ability to work in matrix and across cultures
- Auditor skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Coordinate cross‑function collaboration between Procurement, SQE, PDE and suppliers
- Lead audits, development plans, and escalations to ensure supplier compliance
- Assess manufacturing capability, process maturity, and QMS during PCBA supplier qualification
- Drive yield, lead time, and delivery performance improvements at supplier sites
- Facilitate cross‑functional supplier improvement workshops and track action items
- Support SRM programs for strategic PCBA suppliers with close tracking of execution
- Act as interface between Procurement and Engineering without design ownership
