Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer for Marine & Offshore projects, including FPSO and E-House environments. You will perform analysis, develop layouts and drawings, and ensure compliance with codes and standards while coordinating with mechanical, piping, electrical, and HVAC teams.

The role requires hands-on design authority, mentoring of junior engineers, and a focus on quality, safety, and project execution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of structural engineering experience in Marine & Offshore, FPSO, E-House, Oil & Gas, or industrial facilities.
• Proven expertise in offshore and modular steel structures design.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (SACS, STAAD Pro, ANSYS, ABAQUS).

Responsibilities

• Performing structural analysis, design calculations, and optimization.
• Developing structural designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate systems and resolve interfaces.
• Managing engineering activities from planning to fabrication follow-up.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.
