Job summary

Jayamas Property Sdn Bhd is seeking a Structural Engineer to design, plan, and supervise civil and structural projects. You will prepare drawings and calculations, analyze systems, and collaborate with architects, contractors, and authorities to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires at least 5 years in civil engineering within property or development. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and English is essential; PE status is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years working experience as Civil Engineer in property/construction and development.
• Degree in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineer status is an advantage.
• Willing to work in Bukit Mertajam and travel as needed.
• Languages: Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English for effective communication.
• Solid knowledge of construction standards, codes, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, supervise construction projects with focus on structural integrity, safety and compliance.
• Prepare civil and structural drawings and calculations.
• Analyse structural systems for safety, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Manage projects with planning and coordination with architects, contractors and authorities.
• Ensure on-site inspections, safety, budget and timely delivery; provide technical guidance.
