Jora Malaysia in Selangor is seeking a senior civil engineer with at least 6 years in design and project management. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
Proven expertise in structural analysis, including the use of relevant software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).
Strong understanding and practical experience in geotechnical engineering principles and applications, including soil mechanics and foundation design.
Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar platforms.
Experience in site investigation, feasibility studies, and the preparation of technical reports.
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in Malaysia.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is required for effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Willingness to work onsite in Jalan SS 20/27, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Oversee site investigations, construction supervision, and quality control measures to ensure the integrity and safety of civil engineering works.
Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to communicate project progress, address concerns, and secure necessary approvals.
