SNA Consult in Malaysia is seeking a senior Civil Engineer to lead design and project management for complex infrastructure projects in Selangor. You will perform advanced structural analysis using SAP2000, ETABS, and STAAD.Pro, and develop drawings with AutoCAD or Civil 3D, while ensuring adherence to local codes.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
Proven expertise in structural analysis, including the use of relevant software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).
Strong understanding and practical experience in geotechnical engineering principles and applications, including soil mechanics and foundation design.
Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar platforms.
Experience in site investigation, feasibility studies, and the preparation of technical reports.
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in Malaysia.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is required for effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Willingness to work onsite in Jalan SS 20/27, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Perform complex structural analysis and design for various infrastructure projects, utilizing advanced engineering software and methodologies.
Conduct thorough geotechnical investigations and analyses to inform foundation design and site development strategies.
Develop and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines, to ensure integrated project delivery.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Oversee site investigations, construction supervision, and quality control measures to ensure the integrity and safety of civil engineering works.
Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to communicate project progress, address concerns, and secure necessary approvals.
Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive solutions to prevent delays and cost overruns.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in civil engineering technology, materials, and best practices, and apply them to enhance project outcomes.
