Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Draughtsman to produce precise drawings for varied projects. You will work with engineers, architects, and project managers to translate concepts into constructible plans and ensure compliance with local codes.

Applicants should have a Diploma or Bachelors in a related field, at least 5 years of drafting experience, and strong CAD/BIM skills including AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• At least 5 years in civil/structural drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D and BIM workflows.
• Knowledge of Malaysian Standards, Eurocodes, or BS.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet timelines.
• Strong collaboration with engineering teams and clients.
• Experience with residential/high-rise/infrastructure is a plus.
• Clear communication and on-site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Produce precise civil and structural drawings using CAD tools aligned with specs.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and PMs to convert ideas into plans.
• Inspect and refine drawings for accuracy and code compliance.
• Draft shop drawings, as-built documents, and construction sets.
• Maintain drawing sets and update for site changes.
• Meet project deadlines with high drafting quality.
• Perform material takeoffs and quantity measurements from drawings.
