Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Statutory Analyst based in Malaysia to partner with external auditors and lead statutory accounting activities. The role involves planning audits, applying IFRS and local standards, and coordinating statutory filings across entities.

Strong communication in English and Spanish or Portuguese is required. Candidates should have Big 4 or external audit experience and hold ACCA or CIMA credentials, with proven analytical and conceptual skills to support executive

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish or Portuguese.
• Experience with Big 4 and/or external audits.
• Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in planning audits, executing audit field work, and preparing audit reports.
• Applying IFRS standards and local statutory standards.
• Managing relationship with external/internal auditors ensuring compliance with local statutory/US GAAP requirements
• Collaborating with cross-functional team to review Statutory & Management financial statements and coordination of audit requests
• Ensuring all legal entity and branch statutory filings are completed in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner.
