Job summary

Baker Hughes in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Statutory Analyst to lead statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors for global assurance. You will apply IFRS and local standards, ensuring timely filings and compliance across entities.

The role requires 4+ years in statutory audit, ACCA or CIMA qualification, and strong analytical skills with fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese. A Big 4 background is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 4+ years of experience in statutory audit.
• Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) with IFRS and local statutory standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning audits, executing field work, and preparing audit reports.
• Apply IFRS standards and local statutory standards.
• Manage relations with external/internal auditors ensuring compliance with local statutory/US GAAP requirements
• Collaborate with cross functional team to review Statutory & Management financial statements and coordination of audit requests
• Ensure all legal entity and branch statutory filings are completed in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner.
