Job summary

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. Lead line support for equipment setup, recovery and corrective maintenance to meet KPIs defined in the Wet department.

Evaluate and improve maintenance controls and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and lifespan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Automation or equivalent.
• 5–8 years hands-on experience with Wet Benches, Spray tools and single-wafer chamber systems.
• Experience in semiconductor/foundry environment and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead line support for equipment setup, recovery and corrective maintenance to meet KPIs in Wet department.
• Evaluate and improve maintenance controls to maximize reliability and lifespan of equipment.
• Perform advanced machine troubleshooting with Wet tools and keep safety 5S rules.
• Support tool setup, installation and qualification; ensure spare parts availability.

Job description

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

• Lead line support for equipment setup, recovery & corrective maintenance to meet KPIs defined in the Wet department.
• Evaluate and improve maintenance controls and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and lifespan.
• Able to Perform advance machine troubleshooting. Knowledge to Wet tools (Metal Lift-off, Chemical Spray tool, Wet Benches and SRD tool) is a must.
• Conformance to 5S and safety rules and regulation.Support the new tools setup, installation & qualification.Maintain an inventory of critical equipment spare parts to minimize downtime and ensure the availability of necessary components.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs related to equipment parts, maintenance, and operations while maintaining high-quality standards. Support process team for evaluation & process verification. Mitigate risk capacity and capability bottleneck.
• Develop and lead good equipment training program to bring up good maintenance skill among associate engineers and technicians. Participate in troubleshooting and quality improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and production outcomes.

• A bachelor’s degree in electronic, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Automation or equivalent.
  At least with at least 5-8 years of hands‑on experience in Wet Benches, Spray tools, and single-wafer chamber systems such as Veeco, Siconnex, and SCREEN with relevant experience in semiconductor/foundry environment.
• Good interpersonal skills, responsible and able to handle stress.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
