Zusammenfassung

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in Kulim, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced engineer to support analytical metrology hardware and Epi process equipment. You will manage uptime, troubleshoot, and drive continuous improvement in metrology tools and processes.

Role requires cross-functional collaboration, leadership in local/global transfer projects, and strong English/Bahasa Malaysia communication. Experience with motors/robots and EHS is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Master or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of semiconductor fab support experience.
• Specialize in metrology, mechanical, mechatronics, or related engineering field.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to global projects.
• Basic leadership to facilitate local and global meetings.
• Willingness to participate in global transfer projects.
• Experience with electrical/mechanical hardware on motors, robots, controllers.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide analytical technical competence on analytics hardware for Epi metrology and ensure uptime and measurement quality.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Epi analytic metrology equipment; ensure uptime and measurement quality.
• Define maintenance methodology to improve uptime, accuracy, and risk mitigation.
• Set up and qualify new equipment with process engineers; ensure EHS compliance.
• Lead technicians in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance; monitor KPIs.
• Implement SAP PM and create work instructions; manage equipment logs.

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

• Analytical technical competent on analytics hardware with respect to MOCVD thin film epitaxy growth; Ability to analyze the Epitaxy film characterization and Epitaxy surface analysis through application of semiconductor metrology together with analytical methodology tools.
  Full responsibility of Epi Analytic metrology equipment uptime sustaining, troubleshooting, maintenance PM and ensure equipment measurement quality including tool to tool matching and tool stability.
• Responsibilities in continuous improvement in define maintenance methodology and concept, improve uptime, accuracy, repeatability of analytical tools and risk mitigation strategy including the spare part /critical part readiness
• Transfer and start-up of new equipment, set-up procedure,hook-up , buy-off and qualification of new equipment together with process engineer as team, ensure processes and equipment are compliance to EHS policy.
• Potential to lead a group of technicians in trouble shooting and preventive maintenance of equipment,carry out PM activities and life span studies to establish PM standard and specification
• To set-up SAP PM, maintenance work instructions TWI for responsible area. To achieve equipment key KPIs and supporting process engineering and operations teams to achieve process stability, output, process CpK and yield
• Team up with Process engineer on chronic equipment failure through appropriate trouble-shooting and continuous improvement methodology. Conform to quality system requirement as spelt out in FMEA, Control plan. Maintain effective records on equipment logbook on equipment failure, investigation

• Master / Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Specialize in Metrology, Mechanical , Megatronics, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field preferred with at least 5 years of semiconductor fab support experience.
  Experience and has ability to do cross functional and contribute in global initiated projects
• Basic leadership to facilitate meetings in local and global exchange meeting platform.
• Able to support in global exchange transfer project initiated to live abroad for certain period and adapt in different working culture.
• Experience and in-depth knowledge on electrical, mechanical hardware components on motor, aligner, robot and controller system, wafer robot vacuum handling and chiller system principles
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia preferable, able to speak German language is an advantage
