ams OSRAM is seeking a Process Owner in Wetchem to drive quality, yield, and cost KPIs in the cleanroom environment in Malaysia. You will own process capability, stability and safety, and lead cross-functional CIP projects.

The role requires a PhD or MSc in a relevant field and 5+ years in Wetchem, with hands-on experience in wet etching, cleaning, resist stripping, and related tools. Strong leadership and training skills are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electronics, Microelectronics, Physics or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of Wetchem experience (cleaning, etching, resist stripping).
• Knowledge of Wetchem tools (Wetbench, single wafer processing).
• Experience leading technicians and projects.
• Skilled in Wetchem process knowledge, FMEA, DOE, 8D, SPC, FDC.

• Drive CIP to meet speed/cost/quality targets.
• Ensure 5S, Cleanroom & Safety compliance.
• Implement and setup FMEA, OCAP, Line of defense, FDC, SPC, Anko system.
• Generate training materials to improve technician competency.
• Support equipment team for troubleshooting.

Description du poste

Process owner to meet KPIs defined in the Wetchem department. Full process ownership on quality, yield, damage containment, process capability and stability, cost, CpK and other related KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Advance in process window study using standard tools like DoE approach to optimize process in term of cost, and quality
• Lead process transfer, process & tool qualification and ramp related projects
• Lead and drive Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) internally/externally to meet required speed/cost/quality
• Ensure the compliance to 5S, Cleanroom & Safety Protocol
• Implement & setup process FMEA, OCAP, Line of defense, FDC, SPC, Anko system
• Generate training manual and improve Junior Engineer/Technician technical competency
• Support equipment team for equipment troubleshooting

About you

• PhD, Master/Degree in Chemistry/Chemical/Electronics/Microelectronics Engineering/Physics or equivalent
• At least 5 years working experience in Wetchem (cleaning, etching, resist stripping etc)
• Knowledge in Wetchem tools (Wetbench, single wafer processing for etching, cleaning and resist stripping) is a must
• Experience in leading technician
• Skilled in Wetchem process knowledge, FMEA, DOE, 8D, SPC, FDC
• Good interpersonal skills, responsible and able to handle stress
