Job summary

Setel is seeking a Manager, SRE & Cloud Security to lead a team of site reliability engineers, delivering scalable infrastructure aligned with business goals and security standards. You will drive reliability, security, and cost optimisation across cloud architectures, container platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tooling while mentoring staff and collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; OR Diploma with 2+ years’ experience.
• 8+ years in site reliability engineering or related role with leadership experience.
• Experience managing large distributed teams and strategic initiatives.
• Proficient in Git and modern DevOps practices; strong cloud and container knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead SRE & Cloud Security team from ideation to launch and maintenance.
• Improve stability, scalability, cost optimisation, and security of infrastructure.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing engineers.
• Foster collaboration across technology teams and manage risk with contingency plans.
• Execute a strategic roadmap for infrastructure improvements aligned with goals.
