Job summary
bp is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to improve the reliability, resilience and operational effectiveness of our technology platforms. You will work with engineering and product teams to ensure highly available, scalable and secure systems in production, using software engineering, automation and modern cloud practices.

Qualifications
- 7+ years in Site Reliability/DevOps roles with production systems
Responsibilities
- Improve reliability, availability and scalability of cloud-based apps
- Automate manual operations to increase efficiency
- Build and enhance monitoring, logging, alerts and observability
- Investigate complex production issues and drive fixes
- Strengthen resilience, recovery and operational readiness
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Use IaC to manage infrastructure and automate provisioning
- Identify reliability risks and drive technical debt improvements
- Enhance cloud security and operating practices
- Mentor engineers across teams
