Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 8+ years of experience to join our Petaling Jaya team. The role focuses on reliability, availability and performance of our systems, collaborating with development and operations to embed best practices in automation.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience applying SRE principles in production.
Proficiency in Python, Go or Ruby scripting.
Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration.
Solid networking, security and system design knowledge.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
Strong problem solving under pressure.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systems and services.
Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying issues.
Develop and maintain automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability into software development.
Implement and manage incident response processes, including post mortem analysis.
Participate in on-call rotations and support production systems.
Continuously improve system architecture and operational processes.
Document processes, systems, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
