Job summary

RHB Insurance Berhad is seeking a Project Management & Governance Lead to steer strategic projects from conceptualization through closure. You will establish scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones and resource requirements, and monitor progress against schedule, budget, and outcomes.

You will identify risks, issues and dependencies, drive timely resolution, and ensure governance through steering committees and management updates.

Job description

Project Management & Governance Lead and manage strategic projects from conceptualization, planning, implementation to closure. Establish project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones and resource requirements. Monitor project progress against agreed timelines, budget, scope and expected outcomes. Identify project risks, issues and dependencies and drive timely resolution. Establish appropriate project governance, including steering committees, project working groups and management updates. Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements and governance standards.

Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management Act as the central coordinator between internal stakeholders and external partners. Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and ensure alignment across different business functions. Facilitate project meetings and management discussions. Ensure clear communication of project objectives, progress, key decisions and required actions.

Regulatory & Governance Ensure strategic initiatives and projects are aligned with relevant regulatory, risk, compliance, legal and governance requirements. Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, Legal and other control functions throughout project development. Ensure appropriate documentation, approvals and governance are completed before implementation. Maintain proper project documentation and audit trails.

Management Reporting & Performance Monitoring Consolidate information from different business units for monthly management reports update.
