Job summary

SCHOTT ASIA IT SERVICES SDN BHD in Cyberjaya is seeking a Senior Specialist - SAP SD to deliver expert-level SAP SD consulting, manage complex deployments and support regional clients.

You will work on end-to-end SD processes, integrate with MM/PP, mentor juniors, and drive process optimization across SCHOTT units.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years direct experience in SAP SD.
• Experience with 1-2 full-cycle greenfield implementations.
• Deep knowledge of SD configuration, customization and interfaces.
• Cross-module integration with MM, PP, WM, FICO.

About the role
SCHOTT ASIA IT SERVICES SDN BHD is seeking a Senior Specialist - SAP SD to join our growing team in Cyberjaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to take on a strategic and technically advanced role within our organisation. As a Senior Specialist in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), you will be responsible for delivering expert-level consulting services, managing complex implementations, and driving digital transformation initiatives for our valued clients across the region. This role is pivotal in ensuring our clients achieve maximum value from their SAP investments whilst maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.

Key responsibilities

Supports the end-to-end functional operations of the SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module at SCHOTT globally, including incidents, problems, service requests, and change requests.

Deliver high-quality functional and technical support for SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution module. Take ownership of investigating and resolving production incidents and service requests to meet established SLAs.

Participate in international and regional projects involving of SAP SD. Projects include solution rollouts, new plant rollouts, proof-of-concept execution and new solution implementation.

As an internal consultant, support SCHOTT's global operating business units in process consulting and optimization and design the future sales & distribution processes within the SCHOTT Group.

Coordinate and communicate with IT counterparts, SAP colleagues and stakeholders globally, to drive projects and tasks so they completed on time and with the expected quality.

Prepare training materials, conduct training sessions and upskill SAP key users.

Mentor and coach juniors, providing support and peer review.

Other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

At least 8 years direct experience in SAP SD module, preferably completed at least 1-2 full-cycle greenfield implementations.

In-depth configuration and customizing knowledge in SAP SD, strong knowledge of SD technical objects, migration tools (LSMW, MASS, LTMC) and standard interfaces.

Deep understanding of Sales & Distribution (SD) processes, including quote-to-order processing, delivery management, shipment execution, and invoicing.

Understanding of cross-module integration with adjacent modules such as SAP MM, PP, WM, FICO etc.

Distinct customer orientation with regards to delivering of IT services.

Preferable debugging and ABAP knowledge.

Expertise and experience in other modules such as Transportation Management is an advantage.

Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.

Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
