Job summary

DayOne in Johor, Malaysia, seeks a Senior Specialist, Procurement to strengthen procurement processes and governance across departments. You will collaborate with Internal Control, Audit, IT, Finance, Legal, and Treasury to ensure compliant, efficient procurement and payment flows.

You will drive process optimization, supplier-performance initiatives, and digitalization of procurement systems, while training the team in a fast-growing LEED-certified data-center environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a related field.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, policies and systems.
• Experience with process optimization and policy development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Optimize departmental procurement processes and policies across the procurement lifecycle.
• Identify and assess procurement-process risks and develop appropriate mitigation measures.
• Support supplier performance management initiatives that drive continuous improvement and value delivery.
• Review and supervise key procurement activities to maintain appropriate governance and controls.
• Partner with Internal Control, Audit, IT, Finance, and Legal to support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collect project forecasts and payment lists, prepare reports for Treasury, and support payment processing.
• Assist with the development and implementation of procurement systems that improve efficiency and transparency.
• Support training and capability development for the procurement team.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

Preferred Qualifications

• Three to five years of data centre procurement or construction-related procurement experience.


• Experience implementing procurement systems or supporting procurement digitalization initiatives.
