Liquid Voice Ltd. is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to lead technical engagements across Southeast Asia.
You will drive presales, architecture, implementation and post-sales support, designing cloud and on-premises solutions for voice recording and analytics. The role requires deep multi-technology expertise, strong problem-solving, and the ability to own complex deployments.
Liquid Voice is looking for an exceptional Senior Solutions Engineer to become a key technical figure for our growing business across Southeast Asia.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, this is a senior, customer-facing role with responsibility across the full lifecycle of our voice recording and analytics solutions — from presales and solution architecture through deployment, implementation and ongoing technical support.
This isn't a narrowly defined support or implementation position. We're looking for someone who can become the go‑to technical expert for Liquid Voice in Southeast Asia: someone customers, partners and colleagues can rely on when there is a difficult technical problem to solve, an important solution to design or a critical deployment to deliver.
You’ll work closely with customers, partners and Liquid Voice teams around the world to design and deliver solutions across both cloud and on‑premises environments.
We’re looking for someone with significant technical depth, excellent problem‑solving ability and the confidence to take ownership. For the right person, this is an opportunity to become a hugely important part of Liquid Voice’s growth in the region.
Liquid Voice provides recording, retention and interaction intelligence for organisations where communications must be trusted, usable and defensible. Its solutions support regulated organisations, critical operations teams and contact centres around the world.
The platform is designed for complex communications and IT estates and supports public cloud, dedicated private cloud, hybrid and fully on‑premises deployment models.
Your role will span presales, solution architecture, implementation and post‑sales technical support.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing technical presales support to customers, partners and the regional sales team.
Understanding customer requirements and translating them into robust, practical technical solutions.
Taking technical ownership of opportunities and projects across Southeast Asia.
Designing solution architectures covering voice recording, networking, servers, databases, cloud infrastructure and integrations.
Producing technical proposals, architecture diagrams, solution designs and implementation documentation.
Installing, configuring and deploying Liquid Voice solutions in both on‑premises and cloud environments.
Supporting integrations with customer telephony, contact centre and communications platforms.
Troubleshooting complex technical issues across application, operating system, database, network and voice environments.
Providing post‑sales technical support and taking ownership of escalated customer issues.
Working with Liquid Voice engineering and product teams to investigate and resolve complex product and integration issues.
Supporting upgrades, migrations and changes to existing customer environments.
Providing technical guidance, training and knowledge transfer to customers and regional partners.
Maintaining high‑quality technical documentation for customer environments and deployments.
Building strong technical relationships with customers and partners across the region.
Becoming a trusted senior technical point of contact for Liquid Voice throughout Southeast Asia.
This role requires someone with a very strong technical foundation who is comfortable working across multiple technologies rather than specialising in just one area.
You’ll need to be the kind of engineer who enjoys getting to the bottom of difficult problems, can quickly understand unfamiliar environments and is comfortable being the person others turn to when something is complex or business‑critical.
You should have several years of experience in roles such as Solutions Engineer, Systems Engineer, Technical Consultant, Infrastructure Engineer, Professional Services Engineer or Solutions Architect.
You’ll ideally bring strong experience in several of the following areas:
Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
Microsoft SQL Server and T‑SQL.
Cloud infrastructure, ideally Microsoft Azure.
Networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing and NAT.
Virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
SaaS and cloud application architectures.
System integration and API‑based solutions.
Enterprise application deployment and troubleshooting.
Security concepts, certificates and secure communications.
Technical architecture and solution design.
Experience with voice and communications technologies would be highly advantageous, including:
SIP and VoIP.
Microsoft Teams.
Unified Communications.
Session Border Controllers.
Voice recording or compliance recording solutions.
Telephony integrations.
You don’t need to know every technology on day one. What matters is having the technical ability, curiosity and judgement to understand new systems quickly and work through complex problems methodically.
We’re looking for someone who combines excellent technical ability with ownership, judgement and strong customer‑facing skills. You’ll have significant autonomy in the region, so you need to be comfortable making decisions, taking responsibility and seeing problems through to resolution.
You’ll need to be:
An exceptional technical problem solver.
Someone who naturally takes ownership rather than waiting for others to drive an issue forward.
Comfortable being the go‑to technical person for customers, partners and colleagues in the region.
Able to work independently while knowing when to draw on the expertise of the wider Liquid Voice team.
Confident communicating with both deeply technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Comfortable leading technical discussions during presales engagements.
Able to design solutions as well as roll up your sleeves and implement them.
Calm and methodical when diagnosing complex or high‑pressure customer issues.
Able to explain complex technical concepts clearly and credibly.
Disciplined about documentation and knowledge sharing.
Comfortable managing multiple customer priorities across different countries.
Keen to develop deep expertise in Liquid Voice products and the wider technologies with which they integrate.
Strong written and spoken English is essential.
This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where Liquid Voice is establishing a local office to support our continued growth in Southeast Asia.
The successful candidate will work from our Kuala Lumpur office while supporting customers and partners throughout the region.
Regional and international travel will be a regular part of the role. You should expect to travel for customer meetings, presales engagements, solution deployments, partner activities and technical projects.
Travel will also form an important part of your initial development in the role, including travel for product, technical and operational training with the wider Liquid Voice team.
Candidates should therefore be comfortable travelling regularly and able to do so when customer or business requirements demand it.
You’ll join an international software company where you’ll have genuine technical ownership and exposure to a wide range of technologies and customer environments.
Rather than working within a narrowly defined support function, you’ll be involved throughout the customer lifecycle — helping design solutions before a sale, implementing them once a project begins and supporting customers once they’re live.
You’ll also have the opportunity to play a significant role in establishing and growing Liquid Voice’s technical presence in Southeast Asia.
For someone who enjoys being trusted with difficult problems, wants broad technical responsibility and likes the idea of becoming a recognised expert within a region, this is a rare opportunity.
We’re looking for someone who can become the technical person our customers and partners in Southeast Asia know they can rely on.
