Job summary

TNG Digital, part of TNG Digital Group, is seeking an Architecture Governance & Solution Design leader in Malaysia. You will design and enhance high-performance software systems, supervise technical teams, and drive architecture decisions across microservices, cloud, and DevOps.

The role requires 8+ years of IT experience and strong Java/Kotlin skills. We value bold ideas, fast iteration, and scalable solutions that impact everyday transactions in TNG eWallet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in IT, software engineering, CS or related field.
• At least 8 years of proven experience in IT areas including Java engineering and software architecture design.
• Deep knowledge of IT architecture, infrastructure, microservices, high-volume transactions and cloud development.
• Hands-on skills in Java and Kotlin; Spring framework.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, distributed in-memory caches, DevOps and operating systems.
• Familiarity with Jira and Git.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance software systems for high performance and throughput.
• Research current and emerging technologies; propose best solutions for enterprise fit.
• Describe architecture to stakeholders and ensure requirements are met.
• Improve processes, create development frameworks and prototypes for teams.
• Supervise technical staff and guide problem resolution as issues arise.
• Define features, phases and solution requirements; manage costs and budgets.
• Assess business impact of technical choices.
