Job summary

Verdant Solar in Malaysia seeks a Senior Project Engineer to set the standard for residential solar installations in the Southern region. You will lead site execution, ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery while modelling best practices in electrical maintenance and field supervision.

You will guide junior engineers, resolve on-site design and construction issues, and maintain accurate site records for handovers and claims. A customer-focused, proactive problem-solver is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of site experience in solar PV, electrical installation or construction.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and site safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Model Verdant Way for site management and safety.
• Guide junior project engineers and coordinate with teams.
• Resolve high-complexity on-site design or construction issues.
• Anticipate technical risks and implement preventive solutions.
• Maintain flawless site records and progress reports for handovers.
• Standardise documentation for knowledge sharing.
