Job summary

Solarvest leads the construction and execution of solar projects in Malaysia, overseeing electrical and civil works to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with clients, vendors, and authorities to maintain project progress and meet milestones.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in HV/MV/LV projects, a relevant engineering degree, CIDB Green Card, and readiness for on-site work. Proficiency in Procore and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of electrical/civil engineering or construction background
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or civil engineering or equivalent
• CIDB Green Card holder
• Willing to be stationed at project site/outstation
• Knowledge of solar PV installation, maintenance and protection systems
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/45001 and construction standards
• Strong MV/HV understanding and coordination with design teams

Responsibilities

• Lead construction works per project execution plan and schedules
• Address site queries and provide approvals to maintain progress
• Develop catch-up plans for construction and commissioning
• Inspect work quality, safety, and compliance with standards
• Provide daily updates and reports to stakeholders
• Review AFC drawings for practicality and compliance
• Manage vendor/subcontractor proposals and ensure timely delivery
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and change management
• Coordinate with client, authorities, and project teams for status updates
• Oversee commissioning and handover activities
• Support client training and operational readiness
