Job summary

SEEK is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in APAC to build and sustain production-grade software across key platforms for candidates, hirers and internal stakeholders. You will own services, improve reliability, and guide technical direction in a cross-functional squad.

You will mentor teammates, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with product and design to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions.

Qualifications

• Senior Software Engineer with production-grade software experience and leadership, in a cross-functional team.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices including automated testing, code review, and observability.
• Experience working in cloud-based environments and modern DevOps practices.
• Track record of leading technical delivery, owning services end-to-end, and architectural decisions.
• Mentoring and supporting other engineers to grow their impact.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-grade software within a cross-functional squad.
• Lead technical delivery and shape architectural direction while collaborating with product and design.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to onboarding within the team.
• Drive Agile rituals and practices to improve delivery and quality.
• Champion secure coding practices and DevOps automation across build, test, and deployment.
