Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor / SHO to oversee safety, health, and environmental compliance on our data centre construction sites. The role involves ensuring adherence to OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and DOSH regulations, coordinating inspections, and guiding contractors toward a strong safety culture.

The candidate will conduct daily toolbox talks, manage risk assessments, and support emergency planning and evacuation activities.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with DOSH as Site Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book).
• Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health is required.
• 3–5 years of construction field experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety compliance across the construction site, including data centre works.
• Conduct periodic site inspections to identify hazards and implement controls.
• Liaise with DOSH, CIDB, Local Council for inspections and permits.
• Lead toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety briefings for workers and contractors.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences on-site.
• Prepare safety reports and corrective action plans for management and authorities.
