OIB Group is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to inspect construction sites, rectify unsafe conditions, and ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations. The role includes supervising contractors, conducting toolbox talks, and performing regular audits to uphold safety standards on active building and civil sites.

Ideal candidates will have a DOSH Yellow Book registration, a diploma or certificate in OSH or related fields, 2–5+ years of hands-on safety management, and fluency in

Competenze

• Strong knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, including its 2022 amendments, and construction-specific codes of practice.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Mansioni

• Inspect the construction site and rectify any unsafe conditions.
• Correct unsafe work practices.
• Check subcontractors’ work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations made under it.
• Liaise with contractors’ safety supervisors appointed under Regulation 26 regarding the safety of work carried out by subcontractors.
• Conduct toolbox meetings.
• Carry out regular audits and inspections.
• Inspect the worksite for hazards and prepare risk assessments.
• Liaise with JKKP/DOSH and relevant authorities, such as Bomba, the Department of Health, and CIDB, to ensure the company’s safety standards and requirements are maintained.
• Maintain all site documentation.
