Job summary

Haily Group Berhad in Johor Bahru is seeking a proactive Senior Site Engineer or Supervisor to oversee residential building projects. You will liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors, lead site teams, and ensure construction work meets design and quality standards.

Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage drawings, documentation and procurement

Responsibilities

• Liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and meet project requirements.
• Lead, guide and train site supervisors to higher levels of competency and responsibility.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards by monitoring processes and outcomes and implementing improvements.
• Check technical drawings for discrepancies and ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Manage submission of project documentation and secure client/consultant approvals.
• Material planning, procurement and scheduling of items such as building components.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Senior Site Engineer or Supervisor to join our construction team for overseeing our residential buildings.

Working Hours: 8am - 5pm (Six Working Days)

Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcon to facilitate effective communication and ensure project requirements are met.

Lead, guide and train site supervisors to higher levels of competency and responsibility.

Ensure the adherence to quality standards by monitoring processes and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as necessary.

Checking technical drawings to identify and address any discrepancies or potential issues, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.

Manage the submission of project documentation and secure approvals from clients / consultants to ensure seamless progress and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Material planning, including procurement and scheduling of items such as BRC, door frames, tiles, roof tiles, and so forth.

Job Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or construction related field.

At least 5 years relevant working experience in construction building.

Excellent communication skills to build rapport with team members, subcontractors and other stakeholders.

Able to handle clients, subcon and consultants.

Supervising and inspecting site works to ensure quality and compliance.

Possesses a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently, and outstanding leadership skills.
