Job summary

Berjaya Corporation Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor with a strong background in Mechanical and Electrical building services to oversee on-site activities and ensure compliance with plans and standards.

You will monitor material movement, maintain records, attend site and technical meetings, and work under pressure to meet deadlines, coordinating with consultants and contractors to resolve issues and uphold safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in M&E construction supervision or site management.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, codes, regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Excellent communication and coordination with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Proficient in preparing site reports and maintaining inspection records.
• Independent, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to interpret plans and specs.
• Ensure contractors comply with contracts, plans, specifications, regulations, and standards.
• Monitor on-site movement of materials.
• Inspect workmanship and ensure compliance with method statements.
• Monitor and maintain construction works and progress.
• Keep detailed site records and regular progress reporting.
• Develop professional relationships with contractor staff and enforce quality.
• Attend site, technical, and sub-contractor meetings to address issues.
