Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field; diploma holder with >5 years experience considered
• Solid knowledge in electronics, analog, power and digital
• Minimum 4 years of practical test experience with semiconductor equipment such as Etch or Deposition products
• Develop Test Programs Using TestStand course or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with High Voltage Test and Insulation Testing
• Familiarity with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI or C programming
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills for product final quality test
• Ability to analyse a process, determine gaps/inefficiencies/yield improvement opportunities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Resolve manufacturing floor test/assembly issues and improve product quality
• Reduce test cycle time and increase yield
• Troubleshoot and disposition rejects; determine root cause of production issues
• Provide training to production personnel
• Develop procedures and tools for testing and new product introductions
• Create test procedures and documentation for new products
• Develop test fixtures as needed
• Develop production and characterization test specifications
• Work on cost reduction and cycle time reduction projects
