Job summary

AirAsia is seeking a Scheduler to develop and manage flight schedules for AirAsia and AirAsia X, ensuring operational feasibility and economic optimization, and publishing schedules across airasia.com and Navitaire.

You will support short- and long-term routing, slots management, budgeting alignment, inventory transitions to live schedules, and cross-functional collaboration with operations and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Analytical thinker comfortable with data in Excel.
• Willingness to develop scheduling and aviation domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Short-Term & Long-Term Schedule Development: assist in creating and distributing aircraft routing solutions.
• Annual Budget Schedule Development: contribute to aligning the schedule with the budget.
• Slots Management: file, manage and monitor the slot portfolio across airports.
• Inventory Management: assist in transitioning schedules to live mode and coordinate with Preflight for rescheduling.
• Maximizing Revenue: help optimize schedules for holidays and day-of-week patterns to boost revenue.
• Operational Excellence: support fleet changes, special events, and charter schedules.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with operations to balance objectives.
• Stakeholder Communication: ensure clear communication of future schedules to internal and external stakeholders.
