Job summary

Ams Osram in Penang, Malaysia, invites an experienced SAP Basis administrator to join our Central Functions team. You will support S/4HANA transition projects and manage high-availability SAP systems across on-premise and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with global hosting partners, perform system health assessments, performance tuning, and ensure reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience administering SAP Basis on S/4HANA projects.
• Experience with on-premise and cloud landscapes.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide SAP Basis support on S/4HANA transition projects, including design, planning, and execution of technical conversion.
• Analyze, plan, and deliver SAP Basis support for various technical and business projects, ensuring high-quality and timely execution.
• Design, enhance, and maintain SAP system architectures across on-premise, SAP private cloud, and hybrid cloud landscapes to meet performance, scalability, and compliance requirements.
• Lead and coordinate installation, system upgrade, migration, system copy across legacy and cloud landscapes.
• Perform system health assessments, deep-dive troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with global hosting and infrastructure partners to ensure the availability, reliability, and operational excellence of SAP systems.

Support S/4HANA transition projects, perform advanced SAP Basis administration with strong technical expertise and extensive hands-on experience.
