Job summary

ams OSRAM Group in Malaysia, Penang, seeks an experienced SAP Basis specialist to support S/4HANA transition projects, ensuring stability, performance, and availability of SAP systems across on‑premise, private cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will design, plan, and execute technical conversions, lead upgrades and system copies, perform deep troubleshooting and tuning, and collaborate with global hosting partners to deliver operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Basis administration.
• Experience with S/4HANA transition projects.
• Strong technical expertise in SAP architectures.
• Ability to design, plan, and execute technical conversions.

• Lead installations, upgrades, migrations, and system copies.
• Perform health assessments, deep‑dive troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with global hosting and infrastructure partners to ensure availability and operational excellence.

Support S/4HANA transition projects, perform advanced SAP Basis administration with strong technical expertise and extensive hands‑on experience. The position collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams and external partners to ensure the availability, stability, and performance of SAP systems.

• Provide SAP Basis support on S/4HANA transition projects, including the design, planning, and execution of technical conversion.
• Analyze, plan, and deliver SAP Basis support for various technical and business projects, ensuring high-quality and timely execution.
• Design, enhance, and maintain SAP system architectures across on‑premise, SAP private cloud, and hybrid cloud landscapes to meet performance, scalability, and compliance requirements.
• Lead and coordinate installation, system upgrade, migration, system copy across legacy and cloud landscapes.
• Perform system health assessments, deep‑dive troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with global hosting and infrastructure partners to ensure the availability, reliability, and operational excellence of SAP systems.
