Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking a senior SAP BASIS professional to lead S/4HANA transition projects and optimize hybrid SAP architectures across on‑premise and cloud landscapes.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan upgrades, migrations and system copies while ensuring performance, security and compliance in a global setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP BASIS and hands-on SAP systems support.
• Experience with on-premise and cloud SAP landscapes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, SolMan, CloudALM and BTP.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows, HANA and Oracle DB administration.
• Understanding IT infrastructure operations and security.

Responsibilities

• Provide SAP Basis support on S/4HANA transition projects, including design, planning and execution of technical conversions.
• Analyze and deliver SAP Basis support for technical and business projects with high quality and timeliness.
• Design and maintain SAP architectures across on-premise, private cloud and hybrid landscapes.
• Lead installation, upgrade, migration and system copy across legacy and cloud environments.
• Perform system health assessments, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with global hosting and infrastructure partners for reliability and operational excellence.

• Analyze, plan, and deliver SAP Basis support for various technical and business projects, ensuring high-quality and timely execution.
