Job summary

Talent is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to strengthen our IT team at a globally recognized international school in Malaysia. You will enhance CRM capabilities and deliver seamless experiences for students, parents, staff, and alumni.

The role is a 12-month contract with a strong chance to extend. Requirements include 2+ years of Salesforce development, Platform Developer I certification, Apex, SOQL, LWC, and REST/SOAP API experience, plus solid problem-solving and communication

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Salesforce Developer (2+ years preferred).
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; II or other certs a plus.
• Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, LWC, and automation tools; REST/SOAP API experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud).
• Collaborate with Admissions, Development, and Academic Services to translate requirements.
• Build Apex classes, triggers, LWC, flows and other automation; ensure data integrity.
• Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems (SIS, finance, messaging).
• Ensure security, privacy compliance (GDPR/intl) and provide docs and training.
• Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and optimization best practices.

As part of our continued investment in digital transformation, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic IT team. This role is integral to enhancing our CRM capabilities and delivering seamless experiences for students, parents, staff, and alumni.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions (including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across Admissions, Development, and Academic Services to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Build and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), flows, and other automation tools.
• Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems (e.g., SIS, finance platforms, communication tools).
• Ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance with international data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Provide technical support, documentation, and user training as needed.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend best practices for system optimization.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer (2+ years preferred).
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Platform Developer II or other certifications a plus).
• Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, LWC, and Salesforce automation tools.
• Experience with system integrations via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in multicultural environments.
• Experience in an educational or nonprofit environment is an advantage but not required.
