PEMBINAAN TEGUH MAJU SDN BHD is seeking a qualified Safety & Health Officer to work with the Project Manager and site team to ensure compliance with Malaysian OSH laws on a construction project in Ipoh.

You will conduct risk assessments, lead toolbox talks, supervise subcontractor safety, manage PTW/SWMS, and drive a strong safety culture across all phases of the works in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in OSH or related field.
• Valid and active DOSH/JKKP Green Book.
• Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH/JKKP – mandatory.
• 5–7 years of relevant Occupational Safety & Health experience.
• NEBOSH/IOSH/NIOSH qualifications are an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with OHS Act 1994 and regulations.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits.
• Lead risk assessments and implement control measures.
• Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks.
• Manage subcontractor safety and site safety performance.
• Develop ERP and coordinate emergency drills.
• Prepare safety documentation and reporting.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with authorities when required.
• Ensure readiness for high‑risk activities.
