Job summary

ECADIN is seeking a Senior Project Engineer / Assistant Manager (Rooftop) to lead the technical planning, engineering design, and execution of rooftop solar PV projects in Kuala Lumpur. The role ensures compliance with standards, guides project teams, and coordinates with subcontractors and suppliers to deliver projects on time and to spec.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering is required.
• Hands-on experience in solar PV design and familiarity with PV design software.
• Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical planning and execution of rooftop projects.
• Develop and review engineering designs, specifications, and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance to Project Engineers and team members.
• Manage technical risks and resolve engineering issues.
• Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical aspects.
• Oversee the quality control of engineering work.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Contribute to the development of technical standards and best practices.
• Participate in site visits and inspections.
