Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Risk Management or related discipline.
• Experience in risk, finance, audit, compliance, advisory or a business function within financial services.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships across functions.
• Analytical thinking and sound judgement; careful checking of information.
• Clear communication with business impact.
• Initiative, ownership and willingness to learn new approaches.
• Interest in applying AI and data tools; practical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Group risk analysis: Assess exposures, concentrations and trends; explain implications for the Group.
• Emerging developments: Assess how economic/market changes affect businesses; identify focus areas.
• Risk governance: Contribute to reviews of risk appetite, indicators, thresholds and frameworks.
• Capital and resilience: Support capital assessments, stress testing and recovery planning.
• Reporting and collaboration: Prepare Board reports; coordinate with risk, finance and business teams.
• AI and improvement: Explore practical applications of AI and data tools to strengthen research and reporting.
