Job summary

Qualifications

• A degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Risk Management or related discipline.
• Experience in risk, finance, audit, compliance, advisory or a business function within financial services.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships and working across functions.
• Analytical thinking, sound judgement and care in checking information and conclusions.
• Clear communication and the ability to connect findings to business implications.
• Initiative, ownership and a willingness to learn and try new approaches.
• An interest in applying AI and data tools; practical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Group risk analysis: Assess exposures, concentrations and trends, understand drivers and explain implications for the Group.
• Emerging developments: Explore economic, market and industry changes and identify focus areas.
• Risk governance: Contribute to reviews of risk appetite, indicators, thresholds and frameworks.
• Capital and resilience: Support capital assessments, stress testing and recovery planning, including analysing assumptions, scenarios and outcomes.
• Reporting and collaboration: Prepare clear management and Board reports, collaborate with risk, finance and business teams.
• AI and improvement: Explore practical AI and data tool applications to strengthen research and reporting.
